Diamond Eye

Suitable for early heaviness of the lower eyelid, or for a touch-up after a previous full lower blepharoplasty.

This procedure is a technique Mr. Wilson developed for the lower eyelid. When there is a little loose skin and no significant fat protrusion then we excise and suture a diamond shaped piece of skin from the outer portion of the lower eyelid. It is carried out under a local anaesthetic, and there are tiny stitches that are removed after a week. Apart from some possible bruising the downtime is minimal.

It is very suitable for early heaviness of the lower eyelid, or for a touch-up after a previous full lower blepharoplasty.  (Very heavy lower eyelids would need a full blepharoplasty usually under a general anaesthetic).
